How long have you been in the industry?

I have been in the insurance industry since I graduated from college in 1977.

What is your current position and employer?

I have held various positions with a few different companies, but at present I am the Director of Membership and Marketing at the Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia (IIAV).

On 10/2/19, Fire-EMS Chief Jason Loftus met with Richmond CPCU Board of Directors representative Sandy Crayton at the Frog Level Fire Station in Ruther Glen where he was presented with a check for $500 for the purpose of providing smoke detectors for those in need within Caroline County.

  2. What is your current position and employer?     Inland Marine Underwriter with Kinsale Insurance

  3. How long did it take you to obtain your CPCU?    3 years

  4. What do you like most about your job?   Because I’m in inland marine, every day is a little different.  One day, I could be reviewing an app for a trucker and the next, a builder’s risk for a celebrity’s house in California.  It’s hard to get bored.
